Litigation Attorney
Attorney Judine Saint-Surin was born and raised in Haiti, before moving to the United States in 1995. She attended the University of Buffalo in upstate New York, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science. After graduation from the University of Buffalo, Ms. Saint-Surin enrolled in the Southern New England School of Law in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, where she hoped to pursue a legal career focused on giving a voice to those in need.
After she was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2011, Ms. Saint-Surin started working as a bankruptcy, foreclosure and real estate attorney. Ms. Saint-Surin joined the Bershtein Law Center in 2019 and immediately has made a huge impact helping protect the rights of injured individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. She is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
In her free time, Judine enjoys being active, particularly hiking local trails or practicing yoga. Her favorite vacation spot is returning home to visit her friends in Haiti whenever she can. While Judine enjoys cooking and trying different recipes in the kitchen, her favorite dish of all is Mayi Moulin with avocado. Judine also enjoys reading, and her favorite book is Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat.
Judine is relentless in her pursuit of justice for her clients, and will work vigorously to prevent personal injury victims from being taken advantage of.
